Mr. Reid is the Owner and Head Instructor of Reid's Martial Arts Academy in McKinney, Texas.  He started formal Martial Arts training while serving 6 years in the U.S. Army. He continued his Martial Arts training while pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Computer Information Systems at the University of the District of Columbia, in Washington, D.C. He also attended Graduate School at the University of Maryland. For many years Mr. Reid worked in the corporate sector as a Computer Programmer/Analyst, while pursuing his Martial Arts career. He received his 1st degree through 3rd Degree Black Belt under Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee in Washington, DC. He relocated to Texas in 1990. He was three time United States TaeKwon-Do Federation National Champion (95, 96, and 97). Mr. Reid is certified with The Jhoon Rhee Institue of TaeKwondo, The World Ko Am Martial Arts Federation , Korea KIDO Association (Hapkido) and The Kukkiwon (World Taekwowdo Federation, Korea).
